A major Paints company wanted to implement a loyalty program for it’s end customers i.e. Painters and not be dependent on its distributors and retailers to promote it’s brand and enhance sales.

The company faced innumerable problems with their existing loyalty program, the vendor who had developed it refused to customize it according to their requirements. Although they had launched it, they were not able to promote it aggressively since they were not sure whether the loyalty program would actually deliver on the ground.

After much persuasion, we were able to convince the client to try our loyalty program. After implementation, Painters were able to register with the company using USSD, Website, Mobile App; also earn/redeem points. The loyalty program gave the required flexibility to the company to either provide a cash back in terms of mobile money or offer Painters rewards to be collected from specific retail outlets. The loyalty program provided the company with the much-needed end-to-end solution (integration with a payment gateway, ussd, sms, mobile money service provider) to implement a successful loyalty program which helped the Paints company dislodge the no.1 Paint company in the market and become no.1 in terms of market share in less than 2 years’ time. And it has retained this coveted title since quite a few years now.
